On August 2nd 2012, Josh Lawrence will be performing at the Garage in New York City with the Chordless Quartet featuring alto saxophonist Mike Cemprola, bassist Leon Boykins and drummer Mike De Castro. The band will be swinging through a mix of standards and originals at this hip West Village club.

JL to perform at Chris’ Jazz Cafe July 11

On July 11th 2012, at 10:30pm, Josh Lawrence will be performing at Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia with the trio which toured Poland in 2010 in promotion of his album ROOTS. The band features bassist Chris Riggenbach and drummer Michael De Castro.

Josh Lawrence is presenting a concert featuring his UArts student enesmble Monday December 12 at Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia. The show starts at 8 PM sharp with a set from the trumpeter’s chordless trio with drummer Michael De Castro and is followed by a jam session.

The NEW Quartet plays Summertime [VIDEO]

The NEW Quartet featuring trumpeter Josh Lawrence, pianist Luke O’Reilly, bassist Brian Howell and drummer Mike De Castro ended their summer residency at Chris’ Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia with one final show in September. In this video shot by Ola Baldych the band puts its own spin on George Gershwin’s “Summertime”.
